The Heritage Towers presents Mary Russell’s African Safari, where the animals of Africa will be on display until December.
The reception will be held on the 28th of November, from 6:30pm to 8pm at the Heritage Tower on 612 Virginia Street East. The reception is free and open to the public.

Every Tuesday, the Jazz Tradition returns as The Bob Thompson Unit performs at The Boulevard Tavern.
One of Charleston’s home grown band, it’s headed by legendary Bob Thompson, whose music has delighted listeners from around the world. He is joined by Tim Court on dums, Doug Payne on saxophone, Chris Allen on bass and Ryan Kennedy on guitars.

This dance clinic is headed by Steve and Cynthia Gallagher at ther Club Dance studio. Both professional dancers, they lend their expertise to those who aspire to be better dancers. Dances like the salsa, tap, belly dancing, jazz fusion and the latest Latin style dance exercise, Zumba are taught throughout the week, held after office hours. Everybody is invited to a free display of Nativities Around the World. This is a self-guided art exhibit of more than 500 nativity scenes from this country
and over 80 other nations. This is a great family activity!

Charleston Stage Company took the top prize in the West Virginia Community Theatre Festival held in Morgantown on Saturday, November 7. The company’s production of Underneath the Lintel by Glen Berger was awarded first place in the festival that took place in the Falbo Theatre in the Creative Arts Center on the campus of West Virginia University. The community theatre festival is an annual event sponsored by the West Virginia Theatre Conference.
