Description: Cowen Historical Railroad Festival July 18-26,2009 The Cowen Historical Railroad Festival, held for a week each July since 1984, celebrates the railroading origins and heritage of the town and surrounding area. Festivities include activities for all ages, with a week of events such as boxing, fishing contests, food vendors, arts and crafts, car show, parades, pageants, basketball tournaments, displays, concerts, and railroad-themed activities.
