Mary Russell’s African Safari

image001The Heritage Towers presents Mary Russell’s African Safari, where the animals of Africa will be on display until December.

The reception will be held on the 28th of November, from 6:30pm to 8pm at the Heritage Tower on 612 Virginia Street East. The reception is free and open to the public.

The Heritage Towers houses exhibits that pay special tribute to West Virginia’s African American heritage, which is usually nationally celebrated as Black History month. As per their slogan, the Heritage Tower is a year-round exhibit that seeks to preserve and promote the diversity in West Virginia through the art, culture and history of the African Americans.

    I went to the Grand Opening of this, and it was fabulous!
    Mary Russell’s Safari was fun, educational and she reflect tremendous talent. Love the museum too, quaint and serene.
    Both are “must see”
